Objectives
Calico Butterfly Preschool’s goal is to provide opportunities to enable children to gain a positive self-image, learn self-help skills, develop and practice socials skills, cognitive skills, and physical coordination skills. We desire that the children be able to express creativity, respect cultural diversity, and develop a sense of responsibility and independence. We do not emphasize academics, but do include Readiness Skills in various activities to expose your child to them in diverse ways.
Every child is at his/her own level and rate of development that is influenced by many factors. Every activity is presented as a guideline to provide each child with many different opportunities to play, explore, discover, practice, and with each experience, learn through activities that are fun and meaningful.
