Music Staff
Jonathan Saeger, Music Director, received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. After teaching for 7 years, Jonathan attended Illinois State University where he received his Master of Music in Choral Conducting as well as a special certificate in Music Technology. He currently teaches Choir and General Music full-time at Lincoln Middle School in Rio Rancho.
Seth Hartwell, Youth Music Director, holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Valparaiso University, as well as a master's degree in vocal performance from the University of New Mexico. Seth has taught both choir and band at the middle school and high school levels, and plays clarinet and guitar. He has also worked at the Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival for many summers. Seth is an experienced section leader and voice instructor for all ages.
Beverly Pettit, Organist, is a specialist in early childhood music instruction, being certified by the Yamaha Music Education System to teach its specialized courses. She, along with her late husband, Don, has owned the Pajarito Yamaha Music School since 1975. Beverly's degrees are in church music with an emphasis in organ performance and choral conducting. She has two grown children and seven grandchildren.
Iris Ciesielski, Assistant Organist, directed the Sunday School music program and children's choir for over 10 years and she continues to serve as accompanist for any of the St. Paul choirs whenever needed. Iris has been in church music "all her life."
