Music at St. Paul
If you love music, you'll love St. Paul. We have incredibly rich musical traditions. In addition to playing host to many outside musicians, including the Albuquerque Chamber Soloists, the American Guild of Organists, and Dr. Robert Ray (composer of the Gospel Mass), Sunday worship is always accompanied by choir, organ, and/or piano — and occasionally other instrumental groupings as well.
The St. Paul Chancel Choir is capably led by Jonathan Saeger, while Seth Hartwell leads the Youth Choir during the school year. Organist Beverly Pettit often plays the large (38-rank) pipe organ, and Assistant Organist Iris Ciesielski occasionally relieves Bev by playing the piano at Sunday (and sometimes seasonal) services.
You are invited to join us in making a "joyful noise unto the Lord" — whether by singing in the choir, as a guest soloist, or simply raising your voice in a hymn — any, and every, Sunday!
